TV platform you built for me in my home. The grain patterns in
the Red Oak are outstanding, along with the glass doors,
granite counter tops, and the spotlight lighting system.
Additionally, the degree of construction accuracy is
excellent.

It has been
about a year since you demolished the ugly old kitchen. I
still walk into the new kitchen and just gaze in wonder. It
looks so nice. I love my rolling cabinet and lazy susan. I
feel peaceful with the lighter cabinets--whose doors and
drawers open without a hassle. There is light in the kitchen.
I actually cook several nights a week now--something I rarely
did before. Thanks so much for listening to what I wanted
(which is why I continued to talk to you and did not continue
conversation with some other contractors--they told me what I
wanted, not asked me.) Everyone who had seen the old kitchen
and then the new one is amazed.

Hey Folks:
In early
2004 my wife and I started the search for a contractor to help
us with the remodel of our kitchen. We wanted custom made
cherry wood cabinets and counters, Brazilian Granite and a
certain type of tumble stone back splash. In addition we were
installing hard wood floors throughout the house, to include
the kitchen and we needed advice on the various colors of
hardwood that would compliment the cherry wood cabinets and
counters.
After
talking with several contractors we chose Rickert Cabinetry
and Construction. George Rickert is a craftsman and the cherry
wood cabinets and counters he built are beautiful, absolutely
beautiful. George also stepped in and acted as a general
contractor. He arranged for the granite purchase and
installation and he provided a great deal of the assistance in
referring us to the retailers that had other things we needed
to complete the project.
We all
look for certain things in a contractor when we are going to
spend our money. I picked George because his bid was clear,
itemized and he clearly stated that he would not add on
additional charges unless I changed the plans. He prepared all
construction plans and met with us for approval before any
deposits were made. In addition he is a nice guy.
My
experience with George has been excellent. He and his staff
are on site when scheduled and their work is first class, so
good in fact we have decided to do our bathroom with cherry
wood and granite. You guessed it, George will be here at 7:30
A.M. Tuesday to get started.
I
recommend you talk and get bids from several contractors when
you remodel your kitchen but for whatever it is worth, I would
recommend you talk and get a bid from George. I do believe you
will be pleased with both his bid and his work, we sure were.
